Clarity is very important to me - clarity of vision, of purpose, of expression. For that reason, I have chosen transparent watercolor as my primary vehicle for depicting scenes which seem to exemplify that clarity.
Each painting begins with inspiration. Sometimes it is a sought after scene and other times, fate drops a gem in my lap. Then there are the ideas which gently nudge me awake and take me by the hand until I have done my best to make them visible to others.
